A pow-wow

I just remembered that I didn't tell you about my pow-wow with the garrison commander. It was a good chat and he doodled a lot while I rehashed all the gory details of the past month. I think he was bored but he was nice not to say so! We agreed that the work needed to begin and be finished by John's return for R&R. And.....that we were at the mercy of our German contractor friends (remember 'Rover' from yesterday....that's him.). And so we wait and pray...
