Share the JOY!

John is still busy away from home...but today we thought it would be fun to share in the joy of homecoming with another unit here in Mannheim! For pure excitement and under no obligation I took Catherine, Emily, Jack and two neighbors (whose daddy is also away...) to a gym on post and we "Hooped and Hollered" ourselves to death for their husbands, daddies, boyfriends, fiances....mommies, wives and girlfriends that were returning from a 15 month mission! We arrived and joined a big bunch of "sisters" from our unit and proceeded to wave flags, yell, cry and snap pictures of 120 soldiers and hundreds more loved ones. Celebrate with us and say a little pray for these families as they learn to live together again...and find their new normal selves. We called today our little "appetizer". Yummm!!
