My neighbors...in the rain...and freezing wind.

Sometimes it happens...the last day of school just feels weird. It's the same feeling you get when it's 75 degrees outside and sunny...and it's Christmas Eve. Or the feeling you get when you talk yourself into going to the gym...you spend 20 minutes putting on spandex....and then you walk in the gym....and you suddenly feel like the poster child for "Sara Lee"....it feels like you need to shake off the "not-quite-right" feeling.
Yesterday was the beginning of SUMMER VACATION! And it was 50 degrees and raining....sideways....like a giant mister - misting one second - pouring the next....wind blowing and umbrellas turning inside out...it felt like....Christmas...not summer!
The kids ran out of school "WOO HOOING" and leaping and then Jack stopped dead still and said, "It feels 'wee-udd' out 'he-uhh'" (Still workin' on those "Rs!). And then he rode his little bike home in the rain....and probably ice crystals...
No matter...it's still SUMMER VACATION!!! Let it rain - let it shine - let the heavens part and angels sing - IT'S SUMMER!

Happy Summer to you & your family! Hopefully the weather clears up, so you can do something funner (a real word) than cleaning your husband's underwears!
